- Mark prior day's high on intraday chart
- Price approaches PDH during active session hours
- 5-min candle closes decisively above PDH on volume
- Price should also be above VWAP (session-level confirmation)
- Enter long on close of breakout candle
- Stop: back inside prior day's range (below PDH)
- Target: 1ร prior day range above PDH, or next daily pivot level
๐ PDL Breakdown Short
- PDL is the target level
- 5-min candle closes decisively below PDL with volume
- Below VWAP for session-level bearish alignment
- Enter short on candle close, stop inside prior day's range
- Target: 1ร prior day range below PDL

PDH/PDL breaks in the first hour of the session are often false. Wait until at least 10:30 AM EST (US sessions) or 10:00 London. Breaks later in the session with pre-existing directional bias tend to follow through more reliably.
